About. the artist
the artist
Emilio Maniero was born in Padua in 1980. After a long career as a volleyball professional, he worked for a few years as a craftsman in the family business, specializing in the restoration of belfry cells.
This allows him to learn many different techniques and to work with the most disparate materials but the desire for movement, the driving force that burns inside him, leads him to look beyond simple restoration.
Since 2010 he has decided to release this creative impetus, his artistic power, on iron plates and wooden planks, revealing the deepest veins, the ferrous layers hidden by time, transforming rust into colour, the old into absolute novelty. This is how Emilio becomes ManboTt.
You must know that, to make my works I use recycled materials of which I love to fantasize about the past my challenge is to succeed to revive the rough pieces that I hold in my hands give him a chance to come back under new ones dress.
There are so many ways to tell stories, there are those who are good at inventing them Who did you write, who to remember them I look for them in what I do I imagine them in what I find and in what I create they are realized
The process.
ALL GREEN, ALL recycled
In everything that is apparently no longer needed there is always a residue of energy, which can be transformed into a creative expression. In the materials I collect, I see a hidden potential.
They are objects discarded by man or parts of the plant world that have finished their life cycle, such as dry branches that have come down from rivers and ended up on the beach. Waste elements that in my imagination, rich in their experience, become part of a new stimulating journey.
My work.
MY ART AND HOW ITS CREATED
The lines of the drawing, the signs of the artistic gesture, merge with the material itself, and generate a motionless vortex, which dances between the artist and the material, which reveals the explosive soul of the artist, creating art and design pieces.
